The team

Patsy Barry

Patsy has over 18 years of TV admin experience. She started at Leo Burnett, where she had 9 happy years learning her trade. In 2000, Patsy moved to Ogilvy and spent almost 10 years broadening her understanding of all aspects of broadcast administration. This includes TV and radio playouts, repeat fees, buyouts, music clearance, child licenses, estimating, and artist contracts. Patsy loves her work and uses diligence, integrity and humour in everything she does.
In November 2009, she established Telly Traffic with Laura Dempsey.

Laura Dempsey

Laura is the former Sales and Operations Director of an international book publishing company. After the company was recently sold, Laura decided to use her business acumen to establish and develop Telly Traffic. Lovely Laura is generously spirited, amazingly dynamic and sharp as a tack.

Annie Gaze

Annie has over 20 years experience in TV administration. Her career started at Leo Burnett, where she worked for 6 years as a TV Admin assistant. Next, she moved to Publicis and held the post of Head of TV Admin for 10 years. For the last 5 years she’s freelanced at various agencies, setting up new TV admin systems and training up new administrators.
Annie has an extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of TV admin, including playouts, contracts, repeat fees, buyouts, music and celebrity negotiation, estimating and reconciliation. She is diligent and meticulous, with an unflappable character. And she’s not a bad gardener either.

Our philosophy

We are here to provide a genuine alternative in the market.
Currently, there are too few companies specialising in independent TV admin services. We believe that the advertising industry deserves more choice, in order to keep the standards of service up and costs down.
Our aim is to concentrate on building close relationships with our clients. Advertising is a people business, after all. We want our clients to be able to rely on and trust us, so that we become an extension of their TV department, at their service at all times.
That’s why we are the only centrally located TV admin services company in the business. Our office, within Golden Square Post, provides a welcoming environment for our clients to pop in whenever they like, for a face-to-face chat (and tea in posh china cups).
Our business plan also reflects our philosophy of maintaining close relationships. We will grow our client base slowly, to make sure we never compromise our quality of service.
